• Available Guidelines: in December 2012, National Disease Management Guidelines are available for the topics Asthma, Typ-2-Diabetes mellitus: Diabetic Neurpathy and Diabetic Nephropathy, COPD, Coronary Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Depressive Disorder and Low Back pain.  NDMGs for the topics Typ-2-Diabetes mellitus "Therapy" and "Education" and updates for the topics "COPD" and "Coronary Heart Disease" are under development (in German).
• Practice Aids: as implementation tools we recommend guideline-related Practice Aids (in German).
• CME: guideline based CME tools are available under NVL-Fortbildung (in German)
• Patient Guidelines: patient and consumer participation in guideline development and use is guaranteed and organised by the National Patient Forum (cf. Patientenforum - in Geman). Within this framework, the National Patient Forum develops Patient Guidelines based upon the NDMGs (cf. Patientenleitlinien zu den NVL-Themen - in German).
• Guideline Methods: AWMF and AQuMed - being founder members of the Guidelines International Network focus - are interested in disclosing guideline methodology in a transparent way. For more information in English, go to http://www.versorgungsleitlinien.de/english/methods
