• Available Guidelines: in January 2010, National Disease Management Guidelines are available for the topics Asthma, Typ-2-Diabetes mellitus: Diabetic Foot and Diabetic Retinopathy, COPD, Coronary Heart Disease, Heart Failure and Depressive Disorder.  DM-CPGs for the topics Low Back Pain, Typ-2-Diabetes mellitus: Diabetic Neuropathy, Diabetic Nephropathy, Therapy and Education and Dementia are under development (in German).
• Practice Aids: as implementation tools we recommend guideline-related Practice Aids (in German).
• CME: guideline based CME tools are available under NVL-Fortbildung (in German)
• Patient Guidelines: patient and consumer participation in guideline development and use is guaranteed and organised by the National Patient Forum (cf. Patientenforum - in Geman). Within this framework, the National Patient Forum develops Patient Guidelines based upon the DM-CPGs (cf. Patientenleitlinien zu den NVL-Themen - in German).
